Measure bulky furniture, doorways and lift openings. A lift passenger rating is not a guarantee that a wardrobe will fit. Send photographs of tight turns and landings.
Reserve access
Ask the building manager whether lifts need reserving, protective covers are required or loading is limited to a timed slot. Pass written instructions to the team.
Describe both properties
Include the floor and lift access at collection and delivery. If the lift is unavailable, tell the team before accepting the quote so the labour can be assessed.
